The Fraternal Order of Police is the world’s largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers with more than 325,000 members in more than 2,100 lodges. We are the voice of those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving our communities. We are committed to improving the working conditions of law enforcement officers and the safety of those we serve through education, legislation, information, community involvement and employee representation. You can visit the state lodge at Maryland State Lodge or the Grand Lodge.
The Frederick County Deputy Sheriff’s Lodge 102 has been active in the community since 1985 and has recently purchased and remodeled our first real “home” located at 2 Walnut Street in Middletown, Maryland. The new lodge is designed to be a comfortable setting for off-duty deputies to relax and simply play a game of pool or watch a sporting event in the company of his or her co-workers. The lodge also conducts fund raisers for the purpose of giving back to our community by donating money to worthy causes based in Frederick County. During the month of December, we donated a total of $5,400 to local charities including Christmas in Afghanistan which is a new cause that supports the Fort Detrick Marine Reserve Unit serving in Afghanistan.
It shall be the mission of the Frederick County Deputy Sheriff’s Lodge 102 to support and defend the Constitution of the United States and of the State of Maryland; to continue to promote professional, personal, and efficient cooperation among the law enforcement officers in the State of Maryland; to foster the enforcement of law and order, to encourage social, charitable, and educational activities among all law enforcement officers; to promote fraternalism and mutual aid among our members and the people we serve; and it is the intent and sworn commitment of our Fraternal Order to bring to its members better benefits, equal pay, and an enhanced retirement package.[gn_divider top="0"]
